About New Ways For Families—Together®

Class and Coaching (Optional) for Parents/Families

High conflict situations are hard on families and often involve:

- preoccupation with blaming others

- all-or-nothing thinking

- unmanaged emotions and

- extreme negative behavior

Our classes will help you to improve your relationships within your family unit by learning to manage emotions, have moderate behaviors, use flexible thinking, and check themselves.

This class and coaching focus on:

- understanding our brain in conflict

- why do we escalate and fuel conflict instead of putting it out

- what TO do, and what NOT to do

- helping to reduce or navigate these conflicts more efficiently and effectively

This method is designed to help you to:

improve your own behavior and manage your upset emotions

reduce high-conflict behavior

strengthen your conflict resolution skills in day-to-day dealings within your family

positively influence others by doing the opposite of what you feel like doing
