CONSULTATION GROUP SERVICE AGREEMENT

  1. Neither High Conflict Institute nor its consultants are providing legal services or advice, nor therapy services or advice, but rather discussing in a confidential group setting about general problems, patterns and approaches that may be considered in high-conflict family law cases.
  2. HCI and its consultants will not be held liable for any actions and decisions made by members of the group in relation to cases or situations of any kind.
  3. The group meetings are intended to be confidential, but do not have the confidentiality protections of a therapist-client or attorney-client relationship.
  4. Refunds will be authorized as follows:
    a. If requested more than thirty (30) days prior to the group start date, a $40 fee will be assessed.
    b. If requested less than thirty (30) days prior to the group start date, or after the group start date, a $150 fee will be assessed.

High Conflict Mediation Consultation Group

This group is a year-long (11 meetings) monthly group meeting led by Bill Eddy, LCSW, Esq., to discuss high conflict mediation cases.

Description

This High Conflict Mediation Group is an exclusive program designed to provide expert guidance for professionals dealing with high-conflict behavior patterns in their work. The group, led by Bill Eddy, LCSW, meets monthly over the course of a year, offering participants a chance to present challenging cases, receive feedback, and engage in collaborative problem-solving.

Group make-up

This group is for professionals in the mediation field, including:

  • mediators
  • therapists
  • parenting coordinators
  • co-parenting coaches
  • others involved in resolving disputes

Parents, family members and others who are not professionals in a neutral role should use our other services instead of this group. 

Confidentiality

Group meetings are confidential. Questions regarding specific cases will not include names or identifying information.
